clean couture

Clean Couture is a premier boutique product line of environmentally friendly cleaning and body care products. The packaging is fashion-forward and designed to visually interact with customers as the crystal clear label and clear product allow for movement when looking at the patterns through the bottle. My role with the Clean Couture product line was extensive, from original conception to final distribution. Clean Couture was nominated for a Martha Stewart Made in the USA Entrepreneur Award.

The original concept for Clean Couture was developed by myself and Julie Ley, from Vanilla Print. Working together, we selected which products to sell and worked directly with the chemical company to choose eco-friendly ingredients and product fragrances. I was in charge of logistics management, planning, implementing, and controlling product development and market launch. This required market research, setting price points and ensuring margins for the investment company.

Clean Couture has a strong e-commerce presence. I directed the website development team and served as the UX design lead. I served as creative director for all photoshoots to capture marketing materials.

Working closely with a copywriter, we developed a tone of voice for Clean Couture that was positive, uplifting, and fun. With the “Live Life Beautifully” tagline, we wanted the packaging and product descriptions to encourage beauty and positivity.

Working with Clean Couture included tradeshow coordination, booth design, set-up, promotional marketing, customer lead generation, and follow-ups. We attended Atlanta’s AmericasMart and the NYC National Stationery Show, both being the industry's largest gifting and stationery shows.
